1. Who we are and the scope of this notice
The Clever App Company Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides the Command Runner website, desktop and mobile applications, account service and optional cloud features. This notice applies to personal information we process through those services.
Command Runner lets you connect supported devices to a host computer, view status, run commands and automate workflows. Commands, API keys and other configuration stored only on your device remain under your control and are not collected by this website.
2. Information we collect
Account information
If you create an optional Command Runner account, we process your email address, password hash, verification status, account identifiers, login/session records, profile display name and account timestamps. We do not store your password in plain text.
Device and service information
When you sign in or use cloud features, we may process device name, platform, app version, device and host identifiers, approval status, network and security metadata, and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Subscription information
We process subscription status, plan, renewal or expiry date, purchase source and transaction identifiers needed to activate Pro. Payment card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by us.
Support information
If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message, such as logs or screenshots.
Website information
Our hosting provider may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time for security and delivery. The current website does not use advertising trackers.
3. How and why we use information
We use personal information to provide accounts and signed-in sessions; verify email addresses; link and maintain Pro access; connect approved devices and hosts; deliver optional cloud features; send essential service and security messages; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain reliability; and meet legal obligations.
Where applicable, our legal bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Command Runner, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where the law requires it. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
5. Security, international transfers and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including encryption or hashing of sensitive account data and approval controls for cloud-connected devices. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Service providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
We retain information only while needed for the purposes above, including while your account is active, and afterwards where required for security, dispute resolution, tax, accounting or other legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained as reasonably needed to resolve and document the issue. Account deletion removes or de-identifies account data subject to necessary legal and security retention.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to your local data protection authority. You can update certain account details or request account deletion in the app.
To exercise a privacy right, email us from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
7. Children
Command Runner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as Command Runner or applicable law changes. We will post the revised notice here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
